Our trip to the DMZ was truly unforgettable. It was not only exciting, but also deeply fascinating for both me and my mom. As foreigners, we had only ever seen or heard about the division of Korea through television and news reports—but standing there in person, at the very edge of one of the world’s most heavily fortified borders, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The atmosphere was intense, and the security has definitely become stricter in recent years, which made the visit feel even more real and impactful. Despite the tight regulations, our tour guide, Sadie, was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire trip. Her insights gave us a deeper understanding of the history and ongoing tensions, making the experience even more meaningful.
Tour guide Laura was awesomw, definitely worth it
Our tour guide Julie was so nice and made the whole tour so interesting!! She even took the time to memorize everyone's names!!
Fascinating tour of the DMZ. We did the observatory and third tunnel. Spring was a great guide and explained the basics on the way north. Definitely a must if you're in Seoul.
Eddie, the tour guide was super awesome and kept the timeline quick and brief while still providing detailed information at each point. Thanks again for a great trip!
The MDZ tour we took with Katie was a highlight of our stay in South Korea. The day was well organised, really informative, and we got to see into the DMZ and North Korea, bringing home the history, the challenges faced by the south, and the families split apart, along with their hopes for reunification. If you are considering doing it, I'd say it's well worth it to get a real understanding of the war and how the continued repercussions of it affect the country.
One of the most impressive experiences you can have in South Korea in my experience. Erica was a great tour guide and could answer all my questions really well! Definitely recommend🥰🥰
In every job if one loves it ,believes in it and does it with passion the result is guaranteed.Katie , today's guide , pampered us with professionalism and courtesy

The guide was nice and did some jokes but I felt pressured to find the jokes funny. The tour itself was interesting and informative. When we drove to the third tunnel the guide told us that if we have anxieties or heart diseases we are not able to visit the tunnel. It would be great to have these information before you book the ticket. I think the group was a bit big - an info about the size of the group would be great.
Joey was a great tour guide on the DMZ experience, we couldn’t fault her. She was knowledgable, humorous and we felt we learnt so much from her on our tour. We’d highly recommend.
It was incredibly eye opening and interesting to learn and see so much of the history across Korea! I would absolutely recommend this activity.
The DMZ tour is a unique experience that I would recommend to any traveler in Korea. It confronts you with the situation in Korea like nothing else. Julie from PLK Travel was a charming, extremely helpful, and informative guide for us. 💛💛💛
Yeoni Jin was a wonderful tour guide. She was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. From start to finish, she clearly communicated what to expect at each stop. At the end of the tour, she even helped ensure everyone had a plan to get to their next destination from the drop-off point. The destinations themselves were fascinating and unforgettable. My favourite part was meeting a defector in-person. Hearing their story was moving and I learned a lot. Overall, the tour was excellent and would recommend to anyone.
I was amazed by Miel our tour guide for the day. Arrived punctually for the tour. Explained the history of Korea and what we going thru for the tour. A very cheerful lady and every ready to answer our questions. 👍👍👍👍👍
Went as a group of five to the DMZ. Had a wonderful day there. Katie was a very fun and friendly guide! Definitely worth a visit. Thank you! #TheFiveFromGermany
It was a fantastic tour and we loved it very Much. Specially the guide Jay was amazing with lots of knoeledge and very service minded. Thanks Jay
Our guide was excellent - very knowledgeable and shared many insightful details throughout the tour. It made the experience much more meaningful and engaging.
I didn't like the guide. Communication with here was awkward communication and her English was not that good. Also, there was nothing to do at the observation building because of fog, but we had to just sit and wait there, doing nothing.
It was a great day with a glimpse into Korean history. Our tour guide, Julie, was excellent. She has a very positive energy.
The DMZ tour was very well organised. We found Ms Yoon to be very knowledgeable and friendly. Apart from the places we saw we really enjoyed listening to the history behind those from Ms Yoon
It was a good balanced trip, with alot of views and in Julie we had an excellent guide, who knows a lot an the tour was in good hands.
Interesting tour and really friendly guide, I recommend. Sends messages regularly on Whatsapp for the time and place of meeting. No problem finding the bus
