Our trip to the DMZ was truly unforgettable. It was not only exciting, but also deeply fascinating for both me and my mom. As foreigners, we had only ever seen or heard about the division of Korea through television and news reports—but standing there in person, at the very edge of one of the world’s most heavily fortified borders, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The atmosphere was intense, and the security has definitely become stricter in recent years, which made the visit feel even more real and impactful. Despite the tight regulations, our tour guide, Sadie, was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire trip. Her insights gave us a deeper understanding of the history and ongoing tensions, making the experience even more meaningful.

Yeoni Jin was a wonderful tour guide. She was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. From start to finish, she clearly communicated what to expect at each stop. At the end of the tour, she even helped ensure everyone had a plan to get to their next destination from the drop-off point. The destinations themselves were fascinating and unforgettable. My favourite part was meeting a defector in-person. Hearing their story was moving and I learned a lot. Overall, the tour was excellent and would recommend to anyone.

It was very easy to book the tour. There were still spots left a few hours before it started and my group made a last minute decision to book it. So glad we did. Our tour guide Lizzy was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and helpful the entire day. She even went above and beyond to make sure we got on the correct train to our next destination after the tour had ended. I learned so much about the history of Korea, the Korean War and the current status of North and South Korea. It was an incredible experience in which I will never forget. I highly recommend this tour experience. Make sure to request Lizzy.
