Il nostro viaggio alla DMZ è stato davvero indimenticabile. Non è stato solo emozionante, ma anche profondamente affascinante sia per me che per mia madre. Come stranieri, avevamo visto o sentito parlare della divisione della Corea solo attraverso la televisione e i notiziari, ma trovarsi lì di persona, ai confini di uno dei confini più fortificati del mondo, è stata un'esperienza unica nella vita. L'atmosfera era intensa e la sicurezza è diventata decisamente più severa negli ultimi anni, il che ha reso la visita ancora più reale e d'impatto. Nonostante i regolamenti stringenti, la nostra guida turistica, Sadie, è stata assolutamente fantastica: competente, coinvolgente e incredibilmente disponibile per tutta la durata del viaggio. Le sue intuizioni ci hanno permesso di comprendere meglio la storia e le tensioni in corso, rendendo l'esperienza ancora più significativa.

Garden of Morning Calm is a hidden gem. Our guide JK was so entertaining and really took care of everyone. Nami Island is popular for a reason, though it does get crowded. Loved the rail bike! Pro tip: wear comfy shoes.

Winter lights in the garden were UNREAL. Nami Island was so chill, almost empty. Guide was caring, shared hot packs. Worth the cold.

Took my partner for a birthday surprise, and the whole vibe was perfect. Tons of photo ops on Nami, and the garden was wild with butterflies. Our guide (Shin) had hilarious stories. Bring a hat in July, trust me.

Did the DMZ tour on a random Tuesday. Pretty packed but the guide kept things moving. Tunnel was a workout (tall people beware). Liked the little stories about life at the border. Wish we had more time to ask questions, but overall really glad I went.

Honestly didn’t know what to expect, but this was one of the coolest tours I’ve done. The history is heavy but our guide made it easy to understand. I was surprised by how close you actually get to the border. Tunnel walk was a bit much for my grandma, but she made it! 5 stars.
