The atmosphere was intense, and the security has definitely become stricter in recent years, which made the visit feel even more real and impactful. This marks the first stop on your short hiking course, requiring a 15-minute walk uphill. Spanning 150 meters, it is one of Korea's longest suspension bridges and was once a fierce battlefield during the Korean War. After the brief hike, you'll arrive at a stunning viewpoint atop Mt. Gamaksan.

Here you will go down and look around on foot. Next, head to the DMZ Theater, you will have an opportunity to watch a short 7-8 minute video about the Korean conflict. The video provides a South Korean perspective on the Korean War, how the DMZ came about, and today’s current situation.

DMZ Exhibition Hall

Here, you will see some key artefacts such as photos, documents, and some remnants from the past. A walk through the Exhibition Hall will give you a deeper and more visual knowledge of the conflict. The gallery is comfortable and well-lit. There are many exhibits on display and some interesting facts for history buffs. You will also learn how wildlife has blossomed in the DMZ, where there is no longer human interference.

I didn't like the guide. Communication with here was awkward communication and her English was not that good. Also, there was nothing to do at the observation building because of fog, but we had to just sit and wait there, doing nothing.
